Established in 2021 our goal is to empower people who have special needs and help them take ownership of their lives. All the directors of Community Support Work Australia have several years of experience in the disability sector, including working directly with participants, managing the participants' NDIS plan, managing disability accommodations, and successfully managing day programmes.
Social activities, Community participation and recreation activities are part of everyday life. These activities are filled with fun and help to improve your health and wellbeing. We help participants to take part in the community, social and recreational activities which includes visiting your family or friends, playing the sport, going out for movies or concert, meditation or yoga, learning new skills like art, sewing, stitching and singing etc and much more. We help participants to become more involved in the community.
Every day, people use equipment, technology, and devices to make their lives easier. When we talk about assistive technology, we mean the equipment, technology, and devices that allow you to do things that you couldn't before because of your disability. Or things that make something easier or safer to do. Non-slip mats and speciality knives and forks are examples of such items. It also includes wheelchairs and powered adjustable beds. It may also include items such as an app to assist you in communicating with others if you have a speech impairment.
Meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, medicine reminders, and escorting to appointments are all included in our domestic duties service. It also promotes friendship and participation in hobbies and activities, as well as providing supervision for someone suffering from dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
Life Skills Development & Training helps individuals obtain the knowledge, confidence, and experience they need to become more independent in a variety of areas. We have learned to recognise and comprehend the level of complexity experienced by individuals with special needs when addressing everyday tasks and activities via our years of experience in the disability and community sectors.
We assist with household activities such as laundry, cooking, cleaning, room management, and home/yard maintenance, among others. This sort of assistance relates to assisting with or overseeing your daily duties so that you can live as independently as possible. These services are tailored to you and can be delivered in a variety of settings, including your own home.
People with special needs can use Community Support Work Australia’s travel and transportation services. Travel help is critical since it allows you to perform your daily duties and needs in order to live a self-sustaining life. We aim to help you travel in order to boost your mobility, which will allow you to get things done and complete critical activities. We value your independence and can help you achieve your travel goals so that you can live a more mobile and independent life.
We give high-quality assistance with daily chores such as Showering, Toileting, Meal preparation supervision, or assistance. Morning and evening routine assistance, Medication reminders, and many more. Our staff assists participants with, or supervises, personal tasks of daily living in order to develop abilities in the participant so that they can live as independently as possible.
While NDIS covers a wide variety of services required by a person living with disability, some of the support services are funded by other government entities.
There is no defined limit on funding by NDIS. Funding is granted on a case-by-case basis. If a support service is deemed as necessary, you are entitled to it regardless of the cost of the service.
Yes, if your needs or circumstances change significantly then you can request for review of your NDIS plan before it expires.
Yes, you can choose the service provider and have full control and choice to do so. However, you can only choose a non NDIS provider if you are self managing your fund.
